Message i have read all the stuff about the different clutches, but i am still not sure. I have had an rps sport street disc and it has started slipping this week and I have had it on for about 10,000-15,000 miles. I know i dont want to get that again, cause i cant be change out a clutch that frequently. And i dont know why it went out so quickly. And seriously, i have launched the car ONCE... so if one launch is able to destroy that clutch, then shit. And i tried adjusting the pedal, and it still slips in race gas. So, should i go with a rps sport 6-puck or the TT max street disc. I am worried about the 6-puck about daily driving and in traffic. But it would be nice to maybe take my car to the track eventually for a few passes. But I think the disc off the Max would be nicer for daily driving, I think the stiffened pedal wouldnt bother me too much. Now, will the Max put up with an ocasional launch more that the sport disc, or is it cause they are both discs they will both get f*ed up the same on launches. cause in that case i will probably get the 6-puck, even though it is a very rare launch. but because the max has more clamping force, that it will hold up a little better. I use race gas sometimes, but if i upgrade the turbos eventually i wont go bigger than 535's. so i need to make a decision on this cause the Z goes into Greg on monday, and i need to know. sorry this has gotten a little too long, but i really dont want to make a desicion and be regretting it until i need to replace the clutch again. thanx for any input guys.
